Our Garage in Kingsbury London

Garage Express is a friendly, family run garage in Kingsbury, North West London, NW9. Established in 2009 by Steve and Jane Russell, it followed the success of their first garage Russell Automotive Centre which, over the years, has won numerous awards; including winning Independent Garage of the Year at the Motor Trader annual awards in 2014.

We pride ourselves on offering high quality, low cost service, maintenance, repairs and MOT covering all makes of car and van. We always want the customer to have a full understanding of what is required for their car with no surprises, unauthorised work or disappointed faces. We endeavour to keep you informed of the progress and always ask your permission before any additional work is undertaken.

Our servicing will not affect your manufacturer’s warranty; leaving you with peace of mind.

We adhere to the strict codes of conduct laid out by the self-regulating bodies; Retail Motor Industry which incorporates Trust My Garage.

The Local Garage

Garage Express works hard in the local community and, alongside the community Police, has run an open day to fit, for free, anti-theft bumper screws to vehicles to ensure a lower risk of fraudulent copying of registration numbers.

About The Team

Jane Russell – Founder

Jane Russell sits on the Executive Committee of the Independent Garage Association and is highly motivated to stand up for the customers’ right to choose an independent garage over a main dealer.

She is annually involved with helping young people in the community to improve their learning skills and has been invited to act as a ‘Dragon’ for a local community project, as well as having had the opportunity to talk at the House of Commons promoting the importance of offering work experience.  Jane is also a Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry.

Steve Russell – Founder

Steve Russell has had a career in the motor trade from apprentice to Master Technician since 1986 and during his time ‘on the tools’ has amassed a successful and well sought after career. He was chosen as one of the first 40 technicians in the UK to be trained as a Master Technician whilst working for an Audi dealership. Many other garages seek his advice in regards to the VAG range of cars.

Steve is regularly asked by journalists to help answer consumer questions in publications including Audi Driver, Honest John and the Sunday Telegraph. In 2007 he was named as one of the Top 12 technicians in the country.

Every member of the team at Garage Express are fully qualified mechanics and are helpful, polite and honest – just what you would expect from a good garage.
